  Product Application

The equipment can support 2 voice interfaces which allow using analogue voice through a dedicated wireless data router such as TOPEX Bytton. It is equipped with one FXS and one FXO interface, connectors type RJ11.

The FXS interface can be used to connect a standard analogue phone in order to call through the 3G+ router. The calls from the analogue phone with a mobile destination will be charged as a mobile to mobile call, cost which can be zero for the case of intra group calls.

The FXO interface can be used to connect a PBX exchange which will allow to the PBX extensions to use the Bytton router as a fixed cellular terminal with a direct and serious impact on the company telecommunication cost. Bytton routes the calls for minimum costs, this way you will pay only the cost of a mobile-to-mobile call inside the same carrier network, instead of the cost of fixed-to-mobile call.

The FXS and FXO interfaces can not be used simultaneously on the Bytton equipment. You can use only one analogue interface at a certain moment – either FXS or FXO.

The voice module includes status display of the voice call such as on hook, ringing or in call. It allows selecting ring type on different ring frequencies such as 25Hz symmetrically or asymmetrically DC component.
