TOPEX Router achieves the data transfer between secured TCP/IP fixed networks through reliable GPRS/EDGE mobile networks. The equipment can be used for high data transfer in areas where 3G coverage is not available. It can be used also in special applications where is not required a very high data transfer such as ATM Banking, Telemetry or Lottery.
TOPEX Bytton GPRS/EDGE can reach data transfer rates up to 236.8 Kbps on EDGE and 80 Kbps on GPRS for download and 118.4 Kbps on EDGE and 59.2 Kbps on GPRS for upload. Bytton covers quad band GPRS/EDGE technology (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) and can be used worldwide allowing seamless global coverage on the best available network.
The equipment can be used in single SIM or Dual SIM configuration allowing in the last case an additional back-up between 2 GPRS/EDGE networks. Bytton router features advanced VPN module using PPTP, GRE or IPSec tunnels and advanced encryption and authentication protocols such as DES, 3DES, AES, WEP, WPA or WPA2.
